Cat's
a multi-talented photographic artist whose experience includes writing,
production design and set design. Right now, Cat is in Thailand, teaching
English and about to embark on a journey through India.

Casting Director - Gina Gaudet
Gina
has been casting small films and television shows for 3 years. She
is currently based in Vancouver. Gina has always had an interest in
Vampires and she has just finished writing episodes 3 - 10 of Dax.

Penny Green
Daxula
was Penny's first experience producing and directing. She is also
the producer of FashionFreakz.com. She was associate producer of feature
film The Ultimate Fight starring Ernie Reyes Jr. Penny is an entrepreneur
and builds entertainment companies. Her latest venture is Mediatelevision.tv.
Musical
Score: - Ric Almeida
Ric
has been making electronic music and releasing it on vinyl since he
was a teenager. Now involved in Zarya, Ric is a music producer at
the prestigious Greenhouse Studios, recording destination of many
Canadian major artists such as the Tragically Hip and The Bare Naked
Ladies.
Production
Assistant - Oliver
Oliver
was an exchange student apprentice who was doing his practicum with
International Language Schools. Oliver didn't speak much English but
he was charming and he was really good at getting coffee.
Editor
- Nic Sheppard
Nic
was our editor extraordinaire and he provided the camera and he handled
the sound. Nic went took a full course at Vancouver Film School and
he is now working full time as an editor for an animation studio.
Camera
Operator - Simon Davidson
Thanks
Simon, for your awesome camera work. Simon was a newbie at the time
of shooting, but he has since moved on to producing and directing
his own feature films.
Wardrobe
- Brodie Davidson
Brodie
did an awesome job of outfitting the dax stars on a shoestring budget.
He was especially good at choosing sultry threads from the lovely
Betsy Johnson store.
Make
Up Artists Ingrid & Mathew
these
guys did an amazing job of keeping Dax and Ula looking HOT! Mathew
created a new standard for red vampire lips on Dax (remember the close
- up?) when he used Mac cosmetics ultra red glitter.
Director
of Photography - Jarrod Tiffin
Our
director of photography gave us a great look with his lighting expertise.
Jarrod provided us with a generator and all of our lighting equipment.
Jarrod is an interior artist and his most recent project is his ultra
modern loft apartment - he's turned his 16 foot walls into a machine.
Jarrod is also a screenwriter.
Special
Effects - Ryan Tunnicliffe
Ryan
did the opening credits for Dax, using one of his own visuals. He
also did special effects using Adobe After Effects. Ryan creates original
drum & bass under the name "The Scrambler" and he performed
video mixing live at parties. Ryan is the co-creator and director
of Fashionfreakz and he has directed 5 other short films which have
won awards around the world.
Stunts
- Giorgio Miyashita
Giorgio
specializes in martial arts, weapons and firearms. He has done stunts
and appeared in many television shows and moving, including "The
Ultimate Fight", but Ernie Reyes Jr.
First
Assistant Director - Jonathon Baltrusaitis
Jonathon
has produced and directed pilots and short films for children. He
now lives in Toronto and produces children's shows for television.
